Just recently we have been letting Hadley work on feeding herself. Since I am a neat freak this has been quite the test for me. She usually goes right into the tub when meal time is done. I think the best part is seeing how proud she is of herself :)

Oh my....I remember what a freak I was about Huntler feeding himself...I didn't let him do it for the LONGEST time because of the mess. Poor guy...it wasn't really fair to him!
However, then Gentry was born and life was busy and he was stripped down to eat! And Gentry, well, she has been feeding herself for a LONG time now! And when it is something really messy, she just wears her diaper!!
It is such a huge milestone for kids...they can really assert their independence! It is just hard on us neat freak moms out there!!
Sometimes milestones are messy!! Great photos though!

That is hillarious! How cute :) I can only imagine how I'll be when it comes time for Barrett to feed himself! Guess I'll just strip him down to his diaper and let him go to town...and try not to freak too bad over the mess!! Bath time right after dinner is a good idea! Have a great weekend & Father's Day!
