Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Here is a picture of Hadley from last Thanksgiving. Boy has she changed. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday. I am thankful to get to spend Thanksgiving with many of our family members throughout the entire weekend.

Shoes!

Shoes, shoes, shoes! We hear this in our house all day long. Hadley has a thing for shoes, but not just any shoes. She loves her rainbow colored Crocs. In fact she loves them so much she refuses to wear any others. Sometimes that is ok with me but other times I have to put my foot down. Like on Sunday when we were headed to church. Her crocs were not going to cut it with her black dress and silver tights. Good thing I remembered to hide them first thing that morning. But guess what she found when we got home...

Morning Ritual

Hadley has a new morning ritual. After she is done with breakfast she runs into the living room and starts saying, "tee." This is how she says tv. Then when I turn the tv on she crawls up in the big chair and wants a blanket on. She then watches Jack's Big Music Show while I clean up breakfast. It is so cute to see her all bundled up in the chair.

Happy Birthday

Happy 22nd Birthday to my sister Eryn! I hope you have a great day! We love you!

Leg warmers and making faces

Hadley found a new trick, making faces in the mirror. She saw a little boy at music class doing it and caught right on. Sometimes she even laughs at herself.
She also is bringing the 80's back with leg warmers. She is always taking her pants and socks off the minute we get home. Now that it is getting cold I thought she needed something on her legs. So, I saw that my friend Bethany had made these cute leggings for her daughter. So , I thought I would give it a try. I couldn't find very cute socks but found some that would do. Mike calls them Hadley's leg warmers, and literally that is what they are. She just calls them socks.

Donut morning!

Saturday morning is donut morning at our house. On the weekends that we are home, Hadley and I head to the donut shop for a few special treats. She has quite a sweet tooth like her mommy.
This morning was a very cold morning so we busted out the winter hat. Here is Hadley on the way to the the donut shop.

Who is the preggo one?

So, I decided that I should be proud of my fat belly and let the world see. This is my 17 week picture. I was going to compare it to a picture from when I was pregnant with Hadley but that will have to wait until about 24 weeks.
While Mike was taking my picture I thought he needed his taken too. He may be a little further along than me :)

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to my dad and step-mom, Terry! I hope you have a great day!

Baby #2 update

We had another doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is going great. The baby is around the size of an avocado. I think according to my stomach he/she is more like a melon but that is just me. I know some people post belly pics but not me. I am not up for publishing my pregnant belly for the world to see :)

Our next doctor's appointment is December 15 and we will have an ultrasound. They would be able to tell us at that point if it is a boy or girl but we have decided to be surprised on the big day! I think it will be fun to have that waiting at the end of labor!

Thank you!

Thank you to all the Veteran's out there that have made our country a safe place to live.
Here are 2 Veteran's that I love, my Grandpa Kirby and my Grandpa Sisson.

My cousin, Chris, is also in the army now but I don't have a picture to post. He is in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Sleep

Sleep, that is something Hadley has never been great at. We have gone through some good times and then there are the bad times. We are in one of those right now. She thinks that at 4am mom and dad need to be in her room with her. She will stand at her door and scream and cry. This has been going on for a week and we are back to crying it out. I hate getting up in the middle of the night but I also hate listening to my baby cry and scream. Last night the screaming was off and on from about 4am to 5:15am. We would go in every 5 to 10 minutes to comfort and were out of there fast. Good news, she slept in until 8:30. Bad news, daddy had to get up and go to work.
Hopefully tonight will go smoother.

Cousins

While we were at my mom's this weekend Hadley was able to spend some time with her
8-month old cousin, Ethan. He is a very laid back baby and you rarely hear him cry. Here are some of the pictures my mom took.

Halloween and Fall

What a busy time of year. Last Thursday, we took our monkey trick-or-treating at the zoo with some friends. She left her costume on for about 30 seconds. Here is the one picture I got.On Friday, we headed to Winfield. My mom had chili waiting for us when we got there. I love chili in the Fall. Then we headed to Megan and Brent's for a BFE Halloween picture. It was fun to see the kiddos dressed up.

Norah (strawberry), Barrett (biker baby), Lydia (KSU cheerleader), Hadley (monkey)

Then we took Hadley back to my mom's to stay the night without us. We were a little worried that she wouldn't want to stay without us. Boy were we wrong. She was at the door saying bye and we were asking for more kisses. My mom said she did GREAT! Mike and I stayed the night at my dad's and then got up bright and early to head to the KSU/KU game. What a disappointment. One of the worst games I have ever seen.

After the game we headed out to my Granny and Grandpa's for some visiting and good Mexican food. Hadley had a fun time and it was great to relax and talk. Then on Sunday we spent lots of time outside at my dad's and my mom's. We also got to visit with my Grandpa and then headed back home.
Here are some of the pictures of Hadley and all of the Fall colors.
