Catch up!

Time for another post to catch up on our lives.  I know I say that we are busy all the time but our summer schedule is jam packed.  We just got back from a week in Kansas and had a great time.  I will write a few posts on that another time for now what we did the week before we left.
Last Tuesday we had many warnings about the severe weather that would be headed our way.  After the Joplin tornado I was not going to be caught off guard.  We got our flash lights, blankets, bike helmets, water, first aid kit and shoes all in the closet in case we would have to take cover there.  We watched the weather all evening and decided it was going to miss us and went ahead a put the kiddos to bed.  Not 5 minutes after we had them in bed the sirens went off.  We got the girls out of bed and headed to the closet.  Luckily the storms went around us and we were in the closet about 45 minutes.  Here is a pick of the girls (you can laugh at the helmets but my girls' brains our very important).

 On Wednesday of the week we headed to the zoo with our MOPS group.  It was the perfect day to be at the zoo.  The weather was beautiful.  The girls had a great time!
