Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas day spent at home.  It started around 6:45am (which is late for our girls).  We got right to the present opening.   Santa was very good to the girls.

Santa brought new hats for the girls.

Hadley was very excited about a new Thomas the Train book.
Jillian checking out her new laptop.
Daddy and the shirt that Hadley picked out to give him.
 Princess stuff, imagine that.
Hadley picked out an Elmo doll to give Jillian, I think she was excited.
Daddy and his girls got the Ralph S. Mouse books to start reading at night.
Next up was a birthday breakfast for Jesus.

Hadley and daddy checking out her new video game.  It was in her hand for most of the day.
After presents and playing it was time to get ready for lunch.  Our good friends Philip and Jill and their kiddos, Peter, Harry and Caroline came over for lunch.  We all made a joint effort in preparing the food.  We had a delicious turkey, green bean casserole, corn casserole, rolls, mashed potatoes, stuffing and ended with a wonderful rum cake.  It was a wonderful meal with great friends.  After the meal we spent a few hours just relaxing and enjoying each other's company.
Here is Philip carving the turkey.
The kids at their special table.
The moms got to visit while the dad and kids did some art work.  Peter and Harry brought a really neat present they got.  It was a projector the projected Toy Story images for the kids to trace and then they colored them.

I probably could have taken a few more pictures but I was really just enjoying the day.  It was a wonderful and relaxing Christmas.  Next up Christmas with our families!
