Back in the swing of things

Wow, it has been a long time since my last post.  I wish I could say it was because I was on a tropical vacation.  That is not the case.  Instead I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out and it was not a good experience.  After 6 days of the worst pain I have ever felt I am on the road to recovery.  I was one of the unlucky people who gets dry socket and it was horrible but a little packing of the socket and I am good to go.
The good news is the girls were in great hands while I was under the weather.  Mike's mom was able to come for the first few days and she was a great help.  The girls loved having Granny here with them.  Mike was also a huge help and makes a great nurse.   After Mike's mom left my mom, sister and niece came for a visit.  I am so glad they were here but just wish I felt a little better while they were here.
Jessica and Sophia got here on Thursday.  I was actually feeling a little better this day and was able to pick them up at the airport.  The cousins were very excited to see each other.
Sophia had a long trip and was out after just a few minutes in the truck.
After getting to the house it was time to start playing.
Then it was time for a story from Auntie Jessica.  There was a lot of reading all weekend.  These girls all have a love of books.
Next up some fun with headbands.
Hadley loves her cousin Sophia.
Lady arrived just a couple hours later.  She was greeted by 3 very happy granddaughters.
Hadley wasted no time taking advantage of having her girly, girl aunt around.  They were like 2 peas in a pod.  Hadley gave lots of manicures and pedicures over the weekend.
By the end of the night we had 3 very tired girls.
On Friday, Hadley went to school in the morning so the little girls enjoyed some time together.
Lady and I went to pick Hadley up from school and this is what we came back to.
Just as we were sitting down for lunch our next guests arrived.  My Granny and Grandpa drove down to spend the day with us.
Hadley found someone that would let her talk nonstop :)  At one point Grandpa and Hadley went out in the back yard.  Hadley was talking when they went out and was still talking about 20 minutes later.  When we looked out the window Hadley had a princess and Grandpa had a horse.  I don't think she let him talk the whole time.
 We enjoyed some time outside.

Then it was back inside for more pedicures and a little ring around the rosie.

Oh, Amber! I am so sorry your wisdom teeth removal process was not so smooth! Just reading "dry sockets" makes me cringe and hurt for you! I'm so glad that you and the girls were in good hands for it all! Miss you!

The pics are adorable, and can I just say that your granny and grandpa look AMAZING!!
