Family Pictures

In October we headed to Kansas one weekend for family pictures.  Laura at Elephant Juice took our pictures.  They turned out great.  I don't want to share them all because they will be on our Christmas cards.  Here are just a few.

Halloween Weekend

We spent most of Halloween weekend in Kansas.  We got there on Friday night just in time to eat with most of the BFEs and their families (we missed you Christie).  They get together to carve pumpkins every year and we were happy to be able to join this year.  Although we all got busy with the kiddos and never got around to any pumpkin carving.  The kids all had a great time running around the back yard.  We also ate pizza and made s'mores.  It was my first time to meet Callum John and I couldn't wait.  I held him almost the entire time since I live the farthest away :)
Jillian and me.

We decided to try for a group shot at the end of the night.  These are always good for a few laughs.  It is hard to believe that there are 7 BFE babies.
Here is one of our very first BFE baby group shots.  Hadley was 11 months, Lydia 4 months, Barrett 2 months and Norah Kate was 1 month old.
And now they range in age from 3 1/2 years to not even 1 month old.
Hadley was trying to make a mad face but I kept getting her to crack a smile.

 Jillian on the run.
 Check out this cutie, Caroline.
 The kids on the move.
 Audra and Caroline.
It was fun to get together with everyone and let the kiddos play.  On Saturday we went to the K-State game which you can read about here.
On Sunday (Halloween), my mom made us a taco lunch. Jordan, Cammie and the kids and Eryn and Ethan came over too.  I have to say now that Ethan was there and I do not have any pictures of him.  He did not want me taking his picture.
My little piano players.
Mike dressed up for the festivities.
 Lady cooking her yummy tacos!
Hadley waiting for her lunch.
Jordan and his family came dressed-up.  Jordan was a scary old man.
Brylee was a parrot and Cammie was a pirate.
Then a very scary vampire came sneaking up on us.
Oh wait that vampire was Brennen.
Mike decided Lady looked better in the hat.
Jillian wasted no time getting Aunt Eryn to read to her.

We headed home early that afternoon to get ready for trick-or-treating.  Here are our KSU cheerleaders ready to cheer for some candy.  They didn't want to stop cheering for a picture.

And that finally wraps up our Halloween weekend.  Glad I got that done before Thanksgiving.

Still here...

Just a note to let you know we are still here.  I have started blogging about Halloween but blogger won't let me upload any pictures.  I have followed all their directions and bought more picture storage but still no luck.  I am waiting for an e-mail back from them.  Until then no blogging.  Sorry.

KSU Game

Last Saturday was homecoming at K-State.  Mike and I thought it would be a good game to take the girls and my mom to.  This was Hadley's first time at a game.  Jillian went to all the games last season with us because I was still nursing her.  The weather on Saturday was beautiful!  We started the day in long sleeves and jackets and ended that game in short sleeves.  Hadley and Mike and sat in our regular seats while mom, Jillian and I sat in another section.  We didn't do much sitting.  Jillian lasted about 10 minutes into the first quarter and she was done.  Mom spent most of the game walking around with Jillian.  She even pushed her in the stroller for a little nap.  We had a great time at the game but were sad that the wildcats lost.  Hadley just could not understand why the orange guys won ( we played Oklahoma State) and not the wildcats.  Hadley loved the game and was very excited about the pom poms she got.  Hopefully the next game we take the girls to we will leave with a victory.

Fall Festival at church

The Sunday before Halloween we had a Fall Festival at church.  The kids were able to paint pumpkins, color, play games and do a cake walk.  We also had pumpkin carving for those that wanted.  It was a fun time of fellowship.  Hadley loved playing games.  Jillian was the only little one in the nursery and loved having her Ms. Amy to herself.  Then Ms. Amy brought her out to paint a pumpkin.

Time to paint a pumpkin (we used paint pens and they dried very fast).

Hadley picked a picture of Ariel for Mike to carve on the pumpkin.  These are the only pictures of the pumpkin that came out and they aren't that good.

Behind

I am so far behind on blogging.  My goal is to get caught up this week.  Tonight all I have the energy for is a couple pictures from Halloween. I  think we have the cutest cheerleaders around.

Our Cheerleader

Last Friday Hadley was invited to a friend's Halloween party.  She talked about it all day and couldn't wait to go.  So after dinner we got her in her costume and headed to the party.  I didn't take my camera to the party but here is a picture from before we left.
I think she makes a cute cheerleader!

Girly or Tomboy???

Jillian is starting to really show her personality these days.  She knows what she wants but we just can't always understand her.  Sometimes I see a lot of similarities between her and Hadley and other times they are so different.  I am holding out hope that Jillian is a little bit of a tomboy like I was.  I am not sure that is possible if she continues to want to do everything her girly-girl sister does :)
However when she dresses up she has a little tomboy mixed in with girly.

She will be a cute tomboy or girly-girl.

Pictures

Go check out my sister's family pictures.  They are wonderful.

Pumpkin Patch

On Thursday we met up with a group of friends and headed to a pumpkin patch.  We had never been to this particular patch before and we loved it.  We will be going back next year.  They had a hay rack ride out to the pumpkin field and a big pumpkin play land.  The play area had lots of different activities to keep the kids busy.
On the ride to the pumpkin field.

Here is the pumpkin the girls picked out.
The girls loved running through all of the pumpkins.

Jillian enjoyed digging in the corn.
These cars kept the kiddos busy.

Good thing this horse wasn't real or we would have never gotten Hadley on it.

We had a great time with all of our friends.  Now for the fun of carving the pumpkin with daddy.
