Trenton turned 2 months old over the weekend. Crazy how fast time goes when you have three kiddos. I love watching this boy grow. He is still pretty fussy but I think it is getting a little better. This weekend he actually let Mike hold him and settle him down. He is still not the best napper but sleeps well at night so I can not complain. In fact last night he slept from 10pm to 6am. He likes to lay on his play mat for short periods of time and watch the light up musical star. He is not a fan of tummy time. He is really starting to smile a lot and has also started to coo and try to make noises. He loves to watch his sisters. We will go in this Friday for his check-up and shots.
Here is Mr. Serious.
Hadley wanted in on the photo shoot.
My mom found Trenton this mustache binky. He does not like it so I had to hold it in.
Then the girls wanted in on the action.

Bath time
I love to look back and compare pictures of all my babies at the same age. The kids were all 2 months old in these pictures. I can see similarities in all of them.

Trenton
Trenton lucked out and got a new bathtub. I wanted to be able to bathe him in the sink while we were living in the apartment. I saw this bathtub call the Puj. We used a gift card and got it. We love it and it doesn't take up much room at all.
Little T loves his bath time. He can be screaming and when you put him in the bath he stops. If only he could be taking a bath all the time :)

Jillian's First Day of School
Jillian started school last Thursday. She is going to a new school this year at a Methodist church. She was very excited for school to start. And even more excited that she got to take her lunch and have a napmat to rest on. We dropped Hadley off at school and then had about an hour to kill before her school started. I think this was the longest hour of her life. She was getting so mad that we couldn't go right to her school. When we pulled up to school she said, "Mom you don't need to walk me in, I know where I am going." I don't think so little girl. I am not ready for that. When we got to her classroom she walked right in and didn't even say goodbye. Her teacher had to tell her to come give me a hug so I would have a good day. What a big girl she is becoming.
Mike tries to go on the first day of school every year but couldn't this day. He called that afternoon and said he would pick Jillian up. I thought she would be so excited. When he got there she started crying and wanted mommy to pick her up. Ms. LaVon said these were her first tears of the day. She was better when she found out she got to go to daddy's work and then to the new house.
Jillian had a great first day of school and was sad to know she couldn't go back on Friday. She will be going on Tuesdays and Thursday. She loves that she has another Jillian in her class. She said her favorite part was lunch and playing outside.
Here she is with Ms. LaVon.

1st day of Kindergarten
This tiny baby girl that I just gave birth to... oh wait that was over 5 years ago. This little girl is now a big girl and started kindergarten last week. I think I might still be in a little bit of denial. I shed quite a few tears in the week leading up to the first day. I was very excited for her to start this new adventure but I also didn't, and still don't, like the fact that she is gone all day, 5 days a week. She has been my sidekick for 5 years. Now don't get me wrong, there have been days that Mike gets home and I am pulling my hair out and ready to send them all to full day school :) But for the most part we have a lot of fun.
She was very excited to start school at the "big school". Big school is not an exaggeration, there are 1800 students that go to her elementary school. That is grades PreK-4. There are 13 kindergarten classes. This is quite a change from what I grew up with. My graduating class had 189 students.
The day before school started we went for back to school pedicures, ate lunch out and went out for cupcakes. It was a fun time and the girls thought they were something special. That night we got everything ready for the next day and read "The Night Before Kindergarten."
The next morning went very smooth. I managed to hold the tears in until we left her. She didn't have any tears at all and started talking to her friends as soon as we got there.
Here she is ready to go (the clips in her hair are holding her bangs back as we grow them out).
Sister had to get in for a picture.
This little man misses his big sister while she is gone. She is one of very few people that can settle him down.
At the "big school" and ready to go in.
Hadley and Mrs. Green.
After we left Hadley at school Jillian and I counted down the hours until it was time to pick her up. We couldn't wait to hear how her day went. When she got in the car she could not get a word out and burst into a sob. Which then made me cry. She finally settled down and all I could understand was, "I am not going back." I was so sad for her. As soon as we got home I scooped her up and held her and talked with her. All in all she was tired and everything she didn't like happened in the afternoon. I think the first day was just long for her. When I put her to bed that night she said, "Mom, I don't want to go back to school can you teach me at home." Believe me I have considered it but don't feel it is the best decision for our family right now. I prayed that night, that in the morning she would wake up feeling better about school. God is good! She woke up and said, "I am ready to go to school."
Her second day was much better and she loves it now. I pray that she has a great year.

Meet the Baby
Last weekend my friends in Kansas threw a Meet the Baby shower for Trenton. It was a great time. Hadley, Trenton and I made a day trip of it. It was so nice to get to see lots of people. Hadley had a good time being my helper. She is so great with Trenton and will help with anything involving him. She also loved having my undivided attention on the drives to and from Kansas. I think she talked at least half of each trip.
The shower was at Megan's. The girls did a great job decorating and making wonderful snacks.
Trenton was all smiles before everyone arrived. Right after I took this picture he spit up all over and had to be changed. Then his fussiness started and he really wasn't happy with anyone holding him but mommy.
Aunt Lisa meeting Trenton.
Hadley reading to Aunt Lisa.
Trenton did settle down for Lady for a little bit.
The hostesses (minus Laura she was sick), me and Trenton. Thanks ladies for a great time.
My big helper for the day.
After the shower we spent the evening at my Grandpa and Granny's house. Trenton was fussy most of the time so I was sad that Granny didn't get to hold him much.
It was a quick trip to Kansas but well worth it.

One month (a little late)
This little man is almost 2 months and I am just now posting his one month pictures. We had a bumpy first month. He did great nursing the first day and night and then he struggled a little. By 1 week he had the hang of it. Trenton is not the happiest of babies. I should say he is happy as long as mom is holding him. I spend most of my day with a baby in my arms. Good news is he sleeps well at night. He usually only gets up once to eat. The first few weeks this was not the case and I was not sure if we would ever sleep again. The world is a much happier place when I have rest :) We love having Trenton in our lives!
This picture cracks me up. He looks like a little old man.
Had to have a picture with Mr. G our Wubanub giraffe binkie. He loves his binky and now has Mr. M the monkey too.
And then it was time to stop.

Time to catch up in pictures
In order to get caught up a little faster I am just going to do one blog post with a variety of pictures. I wish I could find more time in the day to take pictures and blog. Unfortunately I have a fussy little guy on my hands and two girls that deserve my full attention whenever I can put brother down. So here we go.
One weekend in July, Grandma Terry and Grandpa Kent came to meet Trenton and spend sometime with the girls. I only have two pictures because I was holding Trenton most of the visit (Little man is quite the momma's boy and usually cries unless I am holding him, reminds me of a little girl named Hadley). The girls were very excited for Grandma and Grandpa to come because they got to go to the Kiddie Park with them and stay at the hotel with them. They had a great time and Mommy and Daddy got a little extra rest. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.
We were so excited for more visitors in July. Megan, Brent, Norah Kate and Callum came to visit. They were here for a mini family vacation and spent an afternoon and evening with us. The kids had a great time and of course I loved getting to catch up with Megan and Brent. We were brave and went out to eat with 5 kiddos and they all did great!
Megan loving on Trenton.
Snack time for the kiddos.
Callum is such a cutie.
Girl time (Hadley is in a dress-up dress and scarf)
Thanks Megan and Brent for coming to visit. Hadley and Jillian want to know when you are coming back to take them to Chucky Cheese :)
The rest of the pictures are just random pictures of our days at home. It has been so hot that we have been staying inside as much as possible. My girls are usually begging to go outside and lately if I say we have to go somewhere they start to complain about how hot it will be going to the car. We are hoping Fall gets here soon.
Trenton loving on his "Mr. G".
Hadley did a little self decorating with stickers. On a side note, I am having a really hard time with the fast that this girl is starting kindergarten. I can't believe she will be gone all day. I am going to miss having her by my side all the time. I know she will do great and have a great time but I will miss her.
Trenton has finally decided he likes the swing a little bit.

I love this little girl.
This morning I decided to get a picture of the kids before church. It did not go so well.
I think I am all caught up except for Trenton's one month post. Here is hoping I can stay caught up.
