We had a busy Labor Day Weekend. Our weekend started on Friday. Hadley didn't have school and Mike took the day off. We spent the morning at home and then headed for Kansas after lunch. We stayed at my dad and stepmom's for the weekend. Saturday was my dad's birthday so we took him to dinner on Friday night. He picked Carlos O'Kelley's for dinner.
Hadley wanted to get a picture of the birthday boy.
Grandpa, Hadley and Grandma
Hadley got the camera again.
Saturday Mike and I headed to Manhattan for the first home football game of the season while the girls stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. Mike and I had a good time at the game but the game wasn't pretty. K-State did win 10-7. I only got the camera out once the whole day.
Me, Audra and Kara enjoying the tailgate before the game.
While Mike and I were at the game the girls were enjoying their day with Grandma and Grandpa. They went to Botanica Garden kid's area, ate pizza and went swimming. Here are the pictures from Grandma's camera.
On Sunday we headed to the Wichita Zoo. It was beautiful out and we had a great time. Mike's mom and stepdad met us there.
What is wrong with this picture??? Oh the 4 year old thought she needed to ride in the stroller.

It is no secret that my children do not like being near live animals. The only animals they wanted close to at the zoo were the statues.
After the zoo we had a good dinner with Granny and Grandad and then headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house. We spent the evening outside.
On Monday we headed over to Winfield for the day. We met Grandlady, Eryn and Ethan at the park for a few hours of fun. Then we went out for lunch and back to Lady's. I promise Lady and Eryn were there I just didn't get any pictures of them.
We ended the day with a visit to my Grandpa's and then hit the road back to Tulsa. It was a fun weekend but we needed to get back for Jillian's first day of school :)
