Things are still busy, busy around here. We have been going and doing something everyday for the last few weeks. Today we stayed home and cleaned and packed. We are headed to Kansas for a few days. Mike will meet us there for part of the time. I am one of those people that has to have a spotless house before they leave. Although it is not as spotless as it use to be when I would leave it will do.
Here are some of the things we have been doing....
Playing in the water.
Swimming
Having a bike wash with our playgroup.

Visitor and pictures
On Friday, Mike's mom came to spend the day with us. When she got there we were outside so she pushed Hadley on her trike. Hadley even talked her into pushing her to the park to swing.
While they were walking around Jillian hung out in her Bumbo.
Then she decided to sit on mom's lap. Check out Hadley's face in the background. She was waiting on Granny and singing away. Here are Granny and Hadley getting some down time after the park. Thanks Granny for spending the day with us.

Today we had Jillian's 3 month pictures taken. We have always had great luck with Portrait Innovations. When we started going there we would go in Wichita. I was very excited to see that they opened one in Tulsa a couple of months ago. We took Hadley to have her 2 year pictures there and had an ok experience. After today we have decided the Tulsa one is nothing like the Wichita one. When we would have pictures taken in Wichita we would have a hard time picking only a few we liked. In Tulsa we have a hard time finding any we like at all. It did not help that we had to wait 45 minutes (we even had an appointment). Jillian was done after about 5 minutes. I picked her up and she fell right to sleep in my arms. We got a few we liked but none we loved. They gave us a coupon for next time but I don't know if we will go back.
Here are some of the shots from today.
She started out with all smiles.
I am still debating if I like the bow or not. Mike doesn't like it.
Hadley started out kissing her sister.
Then she made a face like what is going on.
Here Hadley is saying, "Jilli doesn't like me."
After this I picked Jillian up to try and calm her down and this ham started doing her thing.
We did buy a few we liked they are already on the walls. Now people can stop worrying about our wall of Hadley pictures. It is now the wall of Hadley and Jillian.

Outside fun
The weather lately has been beautiful. We have been enjoying it and trying some new outside activities.
First we started off with a little semi-nude golf.
Jillian just enjoyed being on a blanket in the grass.
We had to have a popsicle of course.
The next day we tried a few activities I got from Little Bit Funky. The first one was sidewalk paint.
It was a big hit.
Here is one of Hadley's creations. I think I will add more color next time.
Then we went to the back to treasure hunt in a block of ice. You freeze some toys in water and then give your child a spray bottle and something to break the ice.
Probably not the best activity for a 2 year old who wants instant gratification. She did well but we ended up playing in the sprinkler and leaving the ice to melt. I also think mine was a little too thick. We will try again another time.
I will leave you with a couple of cute pictures if I do say so myself.

Grandpa and Grandma
This past weekend my dad and stepmom were in town. On Saturday we went and had breakfast with them at there hotel.
Here is Jillian relaxing with Grandpa at the hotel.
After breakfast we headed to the park. Hadley kept Grandpa busy the whole time we were there.
Jillian spent the whole time sleeping in Grandma's arms or watching all the kiddos play.
After lunch we headed back to the hotel to let Hadley swim.
Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for a great visit.

New park
On Friday we met some friends at a new park. It was wonderful. They built all the equipment under a huge shade tree. It also helped that it was only 80 degrees and there was a breeze. Hadley loved it. We were there for 2 hours and she was worn out when we left. Jillian slep most of the time. We will be going back soon.
