Hi everyone. This is Amber's sister, Jessica. Amber wanted me to let everyone know that Jillian Ruth Kirk was born this morning at 10:16am. She weighs 7lbs. 4 oz. and is 20 inches long. Amber said that she has a little bit of dark hair but not as much as Hadley did. Jillian also has very long fingers.
Amber and Mike headed to the hospital very early this morning. Luckily our Mom was in town for Hadley's birthday party so they didn't have to worry about where Hadley was going to go. At 8:15am Amber's doctor broke her water, by 9:15am she was dilated to 8 centimeters and had a little Pitocin on board to speed things up, and at 10:16am little Jillian entered the world. Amber reports that she only had to push through four contractions.
Everyone is doing great. Hadley and Mom are headed up to the hospital now to visit. Pictures will be posted soon.
