Where did this weekend go? We weren't too busy but it still seemed to fly by.
Saturday morning started out with me taking Jillian in for her flu shot. I think we are officially done with shots until her 1 year appointment. Between the flu shot and H1N1 shots we have had enough.
While Jillian and I did that Hadley and Mike had a daddy/daughter date. They went out for donuts and then to Wal-Mart. This was the first really cold morning that we have left the house so Hadley had to be prepared.
Saturday afternoon while the girls were napping Mike put up the tree and I decorated around the house. When Hadley got up from nap I took her out to see the tree and she got a huge smile on her face and said, "thank shoe momma." I love how she says thank you. Then she helped decorate the tree.
Of course I made Hadley and Mike dress festive in their antlers. And yes Hadley is in her dress (she wears it whenever we are home, even to bed).
This is the face she made when she found the pickle ornament that Aunt Lisa gave us.
Here is a much better smile from my cute reindeer.
The finished product.
4 stockings ready to be filled.
The rest of the evening was filled with chili, reading Christmas books and football on tv.
When we woke up this morning to get ready for church Hadley was coughing up a storm and Mike was coughing, felt like he had a bowling ball on his head, and two very red, oozing eyes. So, they stayed home while Jillian and I headed to church. When I got home from church Mike went to Ergent care and was diagnosed with a sinus infection and pink eye. I don't think we will ever get everyone well at once. Jillian's eyes were getting red and watering when I got her ready for bed. I think we may be headed to the pediatrician tomorrow.
Here is Jillian all cozy in her pajamas. She has finally mastered sitting up and playing.
Hadley spent a lot of the evening playing with her nativity set. However she added the prince and princess to the scene. Guess she wanted them to know Jesus as well.
Then she thought the prince and princess should meet Santa.
That was our weekend. I hope that Mike and the girls get to feeling better soon so we can have a well family.
