Days of celebrating
It has been a busy week or so of celebrating birthdays at our house. We still aren't done. We have Hadley's princess party this weekend and Jillian's celebration in Kansas in a couple of weeks. We love birthday time! I am afraid that Hadley has gotten very use to finding packages from the mail lady. I think for about 5 days in a row when the mail got here there was a card or box for her. She loved it! She is loved by so many.
We started celebrating on Sunday when Grandpa and Grandma came for a visit.
This is the best picture I could get of all four of them.
Grandma and the girls.
Time for some presents.
Jillian didn't have time to open her presents before Hadley did it for her. But she was happy about it all.
Grandpa and Grandma also delivered some presents from Granny and Grandad. We waited until later that night to open them.
After the girls were in bed Mike and I went to work getting the cupcakes made for the big day. Hadley wanted mice cupcakes.
The next morning we started with more presents.
Waiting to get started.
Jillian taking it all in.
That morning we went to playgroup and then out for a birthday lunch with friends. When we got home there was a box from Lady, Papa and Uncle Alex.
So excited to get Princess Tiana.
That night we met daddy at Red Robin for birthday dinner and then headed home for cupcakes. Time to blow out the candles.
This was Hadley's face after we told her it was Dancing with the Stars night.
I think she had a great birthday and we ended it with a little dancing.
Now time to get ready for the princess party this weekend.

3 Years Old
3 years ago today our worlds were changed forever. The change was more than we could ever imagine or hope for. God sent us a wonderful blessing and she just keeps making our lives better each day.
Here she was 3 years ago.
And now for the big 3 year old.
Hadley, we hope you have a wonderful birthday. We love you and you will always be our princess.

One year stats
Jillian had her 12-month check-up last week. She weighs 20 lbs 11 oz. She is 33 1/4 inches long. She is a growing girl. All her stats are bigger than Hadley at her 15-month check-up. She didn't get shots at her appointment because she was running a low fever. After a couple of days of not feeling well we headed back to the doctor to discover a double ear infection. She still isn't acting like herself but hopefully she is on the mend.

OKC
Last weekend we took a quick day trip to Oklahoma City. We originally planned to spend the weekend there enjoying the zoo and bricktown. The weather had other plans. It rained all weekend. So we just decided to drive over for the day and go to the Kirkpatrick Science Museum. It was a good time.
We can't wait to go back.

Pretty,Pretty Princess
Hadley got an early birthday present from her friend Sarah. It was the game Pretty, Pretty Princess. This may be the best gift ever for Hadley. It is a game that you have to earn different pieces of jewelry and a tiara to win. She loves to play it and asks me to play it all the time.
Her favorite part is getting to wear earrings. She asks me all the time when she can get "real" earrings. It will be a long time until she gets earrings but for now clip-ons will work.
Here she is after she won.
