Pajama Sunday

Today is pajama Sunday at our house. Both girls have colds. Jillian has it the worst. She would only sleep on me while I was sitting up last night. Luckily Mike took over this morning and let me get a 2 hour nap in. I am hoping to get another one when Hadley naps.
We didn't make it to church due to the colds. Hadley was very disappointed and said, "I want to learn about God." That made my day.
Mike is under the weather as well. He has a sinus infection but started antibiotics yesterday and is on the mend. He might also be a little sick from the way our Wildcats played yesterday. It was a sad game.

Here is a picture of the girls from this morning. Please excuse the snot coming out of Jillian's nose. I am just thankful it is starting to come out.
I can't leave you with a picture of my sick kiddos so here are a couple from earlier this week.

Not much new

Not much new here this week. We have been going to playgroups, dinner at church and just living life. These are pictures I had and am not sure if I have posted them.

Doing a little tummy time.

Cereal

This week we decided to let Jillian try some cereal. I was going to wait until she was 6 months but she was showing a lot of interest while we would eat. I decided what was a few weeks and gave it a try. She still isn't very sure of it and most of it ends up on her face and hands.

KSU victory

On Saturday, K-State played Iowa State. The game was televised but not on Cox Cable. So we headed to our local Alumni watch party. The girls were wonderful for the entire game and we won 24-23. We blocked a kick in the last 30 seconds to win the game. Most have been my prayers for no overtime because I knew the girls were ready for naps.
Here is hoping for another victory this weekend against Texas Tech.

These are a few pictures we took before we headed to the watch party.

Days 3 and 4 of visitors

I have finally made it to my last post about visitors and it is only a week after they left.

Day 3 started with some pajama playtime on the floor. Check out Jillian's comb over.

Then it was time for another walk to the park.
Here is Sophia ready to go.Jillian in the "Beast" and ready to go.

Sophia was all smiles at the park.
Hadley and Lady loved the slide :) Please excuse the lack of clothing on my daughter. It was a pick your battle kind of day. This was the scene when we got home from the park. And yes I just took the seat off of the stroller and brought Jillian inside. You don't ever wake a sleeping baby! Then it was time for lots of Lady cuddles before she had to leave. Before Lady left we had a mini photo shoot in the backyard. We got a few keepers and a lot of laughs.
On Day 4 my Dad and Grandpa made the trip down for the day. It was so great to see them and I am very happy that Grandpa was up for the trip.

Here is Hadley telling Grandpa Great a story. This story was about 10 minutes long and I am not sure what all she said.

It was great to have everybody visit and we can't wait to do it again.

Day 2 of visitors

Day 2 of visitors was a busy one. My brother Jordan and his family came for the day as well as my Granny and Grandpa. It was a fun day filled with a walk to the park, lots of playing and a taco dinner made by Lady. We had so much fun and didn't want to day to end. I wish we could all live close to each other :(

Jessica and me wearing our babies!Cammie getting some Sophia time in at the park. This is what Jillian did while we were at the park. And this was Sophia most of the time at the park. When we got back from the park the kiddos enjoyed some fun in the backyard. They also formed a rock duo.
This is the best we could do for a cousin picture. 3 out of 5 isn't too bad.
Sophia and Jillian did a lot of this the whole weekend.
Lady made a delicious taco dinner.Grandpa and Granny enjoyed some baby time.

By the end of the day we had 5 very tired kiddos. I just realized that of the 300 and some pictures we took there is not a single one of Mike. He was around on Saturday but was busy cleaning out the garage. And then on Sunday he headed to Ark City to race his Mustang. So that is why he isn't in any of the pictures. I promise he is still around :)

Days 3 and 4 of visitors to come soon.
